Other Desert Cities is a Naturalistic play set on Christmas eve in 2004 in Palm Springs, Florida.
Ex-Senator Lyman Wyeth and his wife Polly have it all: Wealth, fame and a political legacy of real muscle. In the sun-drenched comfort of Palm Springs they welcome their family back home for Christmas for the first time in years. But when their daughter Brooke announces she's written a memoir about the incident that changed their lives, they feel old wounds re-opening.



The Play has made its Australian debut in Melbourne in its performances by the Melbourne Theatre Company.

 

Other Desert Cities is a well known play in america. It has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama (2012) and Five Tony Awards including Best Play (2012)
